Measure how a building behaves toward the people who live in it

A behavioral score measures a building's performance against its specification, domain by domain, updated continuously from the building's own operational and experiential evidence. The score shows where behavior holds and where it drifts. It is structurally different from periodic satisfaction surveys or NPS — the score is domain-level, continuous, and tied to operational evidence rather than aggregated sentiment.

NPS produces one aggregate number at periodic intervals. The behavioral score is domain-level, continuous, and built from the building's own operational evidence — not from survey responses alone. NPS tells you sentiment changed. The behavioral score tells you which domain drifted, when the pattern started, and what the building's operations were doing at the time. The two are complementary — NPS captures broad sentiment, the behavioral score locates specific operational patterns.

Anyone with a real relationship to the building — an owner, an operator, on-site staff, or residents. Each answer is weighted by that relationship: an owner or operator sees the building's full operating reality, so their observations inform the profile more heavily than a single resident's view of one home. You answer only what you can speak to. When several people answer the same signal and agree, that part of the profile firms up; when they disagree, the disagreement stays visible rather than being averaged away.
